1.) Please have a look at these rules regularly.
The current rules are binding and changes come into force retroactively too.
Usually larger changes of the rules are published in the community news or by newsletter.
2.) Nicknames:
Member names may not injure rights of the use of a name, trade-name or mark.
Besides this purely commercial (e.g. product name or URL), vulgar, hostile or otherwise tasteless nicknames are forbidden.
Also forbidden are nicknames complete in capital letters.
Note that names can be changed independently in the profile.
We reserve to ourselves the refusal, deletion or change of nicknames.
Only one account per person is permitted. We reserve to ourselves to delete such additional accounts.
3.) Manners:
Always respect this platform, the members and the moderators. We developed the platform in good faith, so we wish you to use them in good faith too.
Personal attacks or offenses are not tolerated. Offenses and insults of any kind against other forum participants or the Wappencommunity are forbidden. Everyone Who ignores this will be cautioned and in the instance of repetition, or in heavy cases, excluded from the forum.
4.) Posting:
- Before you ask a question, use the search function first.
- Case the question was not answered yet, please choose meaningful titles and only use relevant parts of the quotations post in quotation cutouts (note that not everybody wishes to read enormous amounts of quotations).
- Please be always describing and specific. So your questions can be answered best.
- Case your question refers to your website, please open a thread belonging to it and present your site.
- Try to stay on-topic, or open a new topic if your input deviates too much.
- Do not hesitate to refurbish old topics. This is explicitly desired.
- Please read your contribution again, before you send it. The largest misunderstandings can be avoided in such a way.
- Please use text formatting functions sparingly. The character size may not be unneccessarily inreased and only use the bold function with care.
- Headings, which are only meant to make curious and of which the contents of the post are contrary have to be omitted. This also includes the use of capitalization (CAPS and/or SHOUTING) in headings. Anyone Who ignores this repeatedly will be cautioned.
5.) Advertisement:
No Spam! Advertising links are not permitted and are deleted without comment (e.g. buy tricot lingerie from me - XXX ltd.).
6.1.) New visitors:
Visitors who never posted anything are marked as "spectators". We reserve to ourselves to limit the functionality for inactive users.
6.2.) Experienced visitors:
Experienced visitors are marked as "User" and the visitor trunk as "Member" or else marked with labels known from different forums (admin, moderator etc.).
7.) Signature and profile:
- Neither links to erotic or dialer websites nor ref-links are permitted (only links to own projects).
- The link- and accompanying texts may generally neither be vulgar, pornographic, racist or otherwise offend the good taste.
- Signatures are permitted only in the profile signature. The attachment of manual signatures is not permitted.
8.) Moderation:
All sub-forums are moderated. We reserve ourselves to delete without comment, change, shift or close contributions, topics, titles, signatures etc.. In extreme cases we reserve ourselves the blockage or deletion of an account.
9.) Avatars:
Association Club logos and other pictures meeting the good customs are permitted and desired. Erotic, racist or purely commercial pictures (in particular company logos, product pictures, URLs) are not permitted.
10.) Quality:
- This forum is a virtual circle of friends. We treat each other in the same way here as we also deal with our friends in reality.
- A powerful mode of expression is acceptable, as long as it contributes to the entertainment.
- Direct personal offenses (or similar), which are meant seriously, are deleted by the administration and the author gets a caution.
11.) Contents:
Any contents which offend against valid right or the good customs are forbidden. Above this links to illegal sites are not permitted. Contents, which offend against this point, are deleted without comment.
12.) Search list delimitation:
Only search lists are accepted which contain no more than 10 associations. Several search lists within short time are inadmissible and are deleted. Please consider that everyone of us looks for club logos, the one more other less.
13.) Disturbing peace:
Visitors, who are recognized as disturbing peace or who can endanger the integrity of the community, are excluded.
14.) Personal exposing:
Everyone, who publishes personal details or URLs about someone without permission, is in danger to be excluded from the community.
15.) No annoyances by PM and email: Moderators and experts do not give an individually tailored advice. Questions are answered only publicly in the forum. Private annoyances can lead to exclusion.
16.) Exceptions:
Exceptions in individual cases, which are not seized of the here available rules, are decided by the administrators, moderators and members on basis of the available facts.
17.) Changes and extensions:
The Wappencommunity reserves itself changes and extensions of these rules. They are discussed in a voting procedure by the members, moderators and administrators and then executed by the administration.
